It's trying to be a robotic arm-- I was dressed as the main character from this webcomic: http://dresdencodak.com/2009/07/12/fabulous-prizes/ She lost her arm and both legs battling time travelers.
It *is* in fact! :) Although maybe I should beat it eventually before I give such a recommendation.
Still haven't looked at DC. I have a bad habit with webcomics where when I find a new one, it swallows a whole day as I read from start to present, depending on how long-running it is...
I follow a few, but only Penny Arcade and XKCD are worth looking at mostly. Not incredibly original, just about any nerdy person with the internet has seen them. :P
I've been meaning to ask... What's that glove thing you're wearing all the time? Some kind of grounding mechanism?

Very interesting looking comic. I may have to check it out, as I (like everyone nowadays I guess) follow a few webcomics myself.
ReplyDeleteAs I wasn't familiar with the character, I thought the costume looked suspiciously inspired by the game Mass Effect, although I thought it unlikely.
haha.. maybe the comic was channeling some Mass Effect. Is that a game I should be playing?
