All of yesterday and into today I referenced a letter that was written by our 'senior' researcher. I erroneously believed it was sent out to everyone. That led me to say things like this:
"So thank goodness that tar stuff was molasses."
"Now we have 3 days until the next test instead of 2."
"Look for something that resembles an aluminum wedding cake."
This afternoon I finally realized not everyone was in the know. It took us almost two full days to uncover that necessary background information was not shared.
H. Sone's candid response:
"Oh thank goodness! We thought you sounded weirder than usual."
