Trying to not be such a hermit. Finally got my mug up on Facebook. Emailing old classmates from Oklahoma. Talking to family over the phone.
On the face-to-face front I'm working to spend more time with a few really cool grad students I've met here on The Farm. It was a blast to study and work with these people-- too bad things never seemed to progress much beyond the lab or library. If all goes well, that should change for the summer. Slowly trying to undo what 5 years of engineering homework did to my social life.
I'm always happy to feed people. Plus, going to see movies by yourself gets old after awhile.
